About Me
I write for middle graders and teens because it's fun and I love the age groups. If a reader can enjoy what I've written and get something out of it, I've done my job. I hold an MFA in Writing for Children and Teens from Vermont College and a post-MFA certification in writing pedagogy. In addition to writing, I teach university classes in creative writing, freelance writing, composition, and literature. I also tutor in these areas as well, working with high school and college students. Basically, my work and creative lives are focused on all things writing and reading.
